What is a college student's least favorite thing to talk about? Probably how to give consent. Utah Valley University's Title IX Office wanted to decrease the risk of sexual assault on their campus, but UVU has a very broad range of students with different beliefs on sexuality, gender identity, and relationships. Some who have never had "the talk", some who are abstinent, and others who have multiple partners a week. This project had several stages of writing. We need to make sure it would land with the audience, but cover difficult topics in the correct ways. After careful writing and masterful directing of skilled actors, we came up with this impactful video. It is used for all UVU freshman first coming to the university.
